Ceri is a newbie volunteer with Potton Hall for All, although she has volunteered extensively within the community where she previously lived. As well as helping on the Friends Group and the Management Committee, Ceri finds time to volunteer with Party on Potton too. Well done!
She said “After moving to Potton, I wanted to become involved in the local community and get to know people. Volunteering seemed like a great way to contribute, meet new friends, and support an organisation that plays an important role in bringing people together.”
She’s really enjoyed meeting people and becoming more connected to the community. Everyone has been incredibly welcoming, and it's been lovely to feel part of something that benefits local residents.
Ceri also told us that volunteering has helped her build new friendships and feel more settled in Potton. It has given her a sense of belonging and the opportunity to contribute to the community in a meaningful way.
She added “Although I haven't been volunteering for very long, I've enjoyed seeing how much can be achieved when people come together with a shared goal. It's been inspiring to see the commitment and enthusiasm of everyone involved.”
Thank you Ceri, we appreciate everything you do for us.
