Portsoy 75 Club presents “The Book Shop” at the Granary, next to the Portsoy Marble Shop & Holiday Cottages at the Old Harbour, as part of Aberdeenshire Doors Open Days on Saturday 19th September & Sunday 20th September.

We will be selling a varied collection of pre-loved books that have been donated to us to raise funds for Portsoy 75 Club.

Come along and discover a wide range, including:

📖 Classics
📖 Thrillers
📖 Fantasy
📖 Science Fiction
📖 Crime
📖 Reference Books
📖 Sheet Music
And so much more…

📚 Donations of pre-loved books will be accepted from Thursday 3rd September. Now is your chance to clear some space in your house and give someone else the chance to enjoy the books that you no longer need!

In order to donate please email [email protected] or contact a Member of the 75 Club, providing your contact details, and we will arrange for collection or delivery of the books.

📚 Donations will also be accepted at the Granary on Saturday 19th September & Sunday 20th September. ❗️Please do not attempt to drop off books at the Granary before then, as there will be no one there to accept them.

All proceeds from the book sale will go towards Portsoy 75 Club funds to support the communities of Portsoy, Sandend & Fordyce.

🎉 It’s been a full year since our anniversary celebration weekend - and what a celebration it was! 🎉

Here’s a look back at some fantastic memories from last year, when Portsoy 75 Club celebrated its 50th anniversary and The Portsoy Thrift Shop marked 25 years! 🥳🎂

We welcomed the incredible Up Helly Aa Jarl Squads and the community joined them in a huge weekend of celebrations! 🔥⚔️

A brilliant occasion, packed with music, laughter, community spirit and a fantastic atmosphere, as everyone came together to celebrate these two amazing organisations which continue to support our local community. 💙

Members of Portsoy 75 Club enjoyed a social outing to Macduff Petanque Club last night.

The group enjoyed a taster session in pétanque and it didn’t take long for many of them to get rather competitive! 🏆😄

A big thank you to pétanque coaches Malcolm and Gloria for giving up their time, sharing their expertise and making everyone so welcome.

A great evening, lots of laughs - and perhaps a few new pétanque enthusiasts in the making!
