Our Open Night Fundraiser was a huge success. The Deveron Singers, ablely led by musical director Dr Irene Watt, entertained the audience with music and songs; well loved and others less known. After the interval, Dr. Irene Watt played her harp, including songs honouring the rich heritage of her grandmother and greatmother from the fishing folk of Gamrie. The evening finished with The Deveron Singers leading the aidience with a lively selection of songs, the last being Auld Lang Syne. The raffle raised £300 for The Deveron Singers. Thank you to everyone who donated raffle prizes, those who bought raffle tickets, and all the wifies who baked, made sandwiches. The spread was eye watering delicious.
