Isle of Wight Camp site for Youth Groups Welcome to our page promoting one of the best youth group camp sites in the UK. Mains gas and electric feed these two buildings.

BROMLEY BOYS’ BRIGADE CAMP SITE
The campsite “Lower Dean, Peacock Hill” is situated at Whitecliffe Bay on the Isle of Wight within five minutes walking distance of a lovely award winning sandy beach. The site is maintained by the 13th Bromley Boys Brigade and has been an approved site since 1966 and it continues to make improvements to cater for all types of groups. The site has two permanent bu

ildings one housing modern cooking facilities and quartermastering and the other housing showers and flush toilet facilities (see pictures). The site is open from July through to early September each year and caters for groups up to 120. A small and quick visit last weekend to check on the site and deliver some bits ready for more refurbishment work before the camps get started. Some pictures and videos showing summer is coming, and some evidence of a very rough winter in Whitecliffe Bay.

And finally, a big shout out to all our leaders who give up a week of their annual leave to help run the camp, including the team who spend a week setting the camp up. Our grateful thanks to you all.

As we close the site for the year we would like to thank all our hirers for 2025. Its been one of our busiest seasons in recent years. We are delighted that everyone has appreciated the hard work that has gone into maintaining such a wonderful place. We will keep you posted with progress on the west wing shower refurb. Happy Camping.
