ADHD
Real ADHD is often spoken about with a really negative approach.
The children don't sit still, they don't listen, they are incorrectly or unkindly labeled as "naughty" but there are so many positive attributes that children and adults offer when they have ADHD. These aren't talked about enough. So, in our family we decided we are going to.
People with ADHD are.................
β’ Great at problem solving! They bounce ideas and think outside the box and often create solutions that others maybe haven't thought of.
β’ Compassionate and loving. They have big feelings, which often leads to big amounts of love to give, random cuddles and affection!
β’ Humour, I think this is one of their biggest superpowers, they can make you laugh within seconds whether they are being lighthearted and silly or whether they come out with random things, either way they are guaranteed to make you laugh!
β’ Hyperfocus, this can also be seen as a negative, but we see it as a positive! They can channel so much energy and passion into something they like and this can lead to being amazing at something! Some of our best scientists, artists and writers have ADHD.
There are so many more but these are our favourites. We hope you agree π
