The Summer Solstice is just days away, and we have only six places remaining for this special gathering at Ynys Y Cwtsh.
As we reach the longest day of the year, take a few hours to step away from the noise, slow your pace, and immerse yourself in the beauty of the season.

Spend the evening creating a flower crown, enjoying seasonal refreshments and nourishing treats, moving through a gentle yoga flow, and unwinding with a deeply restorative sound bath.
Set amongst nature, this is an opportunity to pause, breathe, and welcome summer with intention and good company.

📣 Calling Local Artists 📣

We have given our community hall and lovely bit of TLC and we now have a cosy coffee corner but its just missing something and that thing could be your art!

We are looking for some pieces of art from local artists or art that is inspired by the Rhondda/Wales to display here.

We’re offering FREE wall space for local artists to display paintings, prints, photography, crafts, and more, with the hope that visitors might fall in love with a piece and take it home 🖼️✨

This is all about supporting local talent, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and bringing a little more art into our community.

A final thank you to everyone who got involved in at Ynys Y Cwtsh and helped us renovate our entire community hall – diolch o galon i chi gyd!

We’re now one step closer to opening our community café (date TBC), and we’ve created so much more space for activities, events, and a welcoming coffee corner for meetings and more.

We’re also excited to welcome back our groups into the hall this week!

🧘 Yoga with Esther Nagle Yoga and Wellbeing – Tuesday at 12pm
🎲 Games Club with The Ink & Coal Collective – Tuesday & Thursday evenings at 6:30pm
🧶 And of course, our much-loved knitting and bingo groups are back too!
