Next Sunday, Amelia is taking on the Great South Run in support of Forest Holme Hospice Charity, in memory of our much missed colleague and friend, Michala.

Forest Holme provided incredible care and support to Michala and her family, and we're so grateful for the difference they continue to make to local people during some of life's most difficult moments.

What a way to finish the week! 🙌

On Friday, we welcomed a packed room of business leaders to hear from Ben Chick at the Evolve Leaders Lunch.

Ben’s story took us from third generation farming and family legacy through some incredibly challenging moments, to diversification, reinvention and taking a leap into something completely new with Chalk & Padel.

Plenty of honesty, plenty of laughs and lots for the room to take away.

This week we’ve had plenty of great people, conversations and different perspectives through the doors of the Townhouse.

🧩 The People Puzzle brought together our expert panel and local business leaders to explore the people decisions that come with growing a business, from those first hires right through to succession and exit.

🔮 Our Peer Group Development Workshop challenged members to Think Like a Futurist, looking ahead to 2035 and beyond and considering how the decisions we make today can better prepare our businesses for what comes next.

Different conversations, but a common theme: making the time to think beyond what’s right in front of you.

What will your business look like in 2035? 👀

That was the question we put to our Peer Group members yesterday as we challenged them to Think Like a Futurist.

Not to predict the future, but look at what might be changing around us, from customers and employees to markets and emerging trends, and what those changes could mean for our businesses.

There was plenty of conversation about 2035 and beyond, and hopefully a few ideas that will shape decisions being made today.
