Dementia Awareness Session 💙🌼

Would you like to learn more about dementia, recognise the signs and symptoms, and understand where to find help and support?

St Mary’s Community Centre is pleased to host this valuable Dementia Awareness Session with Alzheimer’s Society and other local support organisations.

The session is open to everyone - whether you are personally affected by dementia, supporting a family member or friend, or simply want to increase your knowledge.

It is particularly valuable for community staff, volunteers and anyone involved in neighbourhood health, prevention or support services. The knowledge you gain could help you recognise concerns, offer reassurance and signpost someone to the right support.

💙 Learn more about dementia and brain health
💙 Understand signs and symptoms and what to do if you are concerned
💙 Find out about local support and pathways to diagnosis
💙 Opportunity to become a Dementia Friend
💙 Ask questions and meet local support organisations
💙 Free refreshments and a light lunch provided
