𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭! 💚

We had a brilliant time at yesterday’s The Lighthouse Project Together Café. It was a real joy to catch up with everyone and see the community coming together to support one another through the ups and downs of a cancer diagnosis.

A huge thank you to the team at the Lighthouse Project for being such wonderful hosts, and it was lovely to catch up with the inspiring women from Bosom Pals. The work they do to support those affected by breast cancer is incredible, and it’s these local connections that make our sessions so special 💚

Missed us this time? Don't worry! We meet every fortnight for a relaxed cuppa and a chat.. no agendas, just friendly faces and a listening ear ☕️

Our next session will be Tuesday 3rd March and we’d love to see you there!

Our Together Cafe in Moose Hall, Tredegar is a relaxed, non-judgmental space for 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿, whether you’re living 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘀, 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲, 𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

Continuing our celebrations, our second spotlight is the fantastic work of Rowan Tree Cancer Care 🌟

Based in Mountain Ash, they provide emotional and practical support to families across Rhondda Cynon Taf whose lives have been touched by cancer. Their commitment to community based care is truly exceptional, offering a wide range of free services to help ease the burden of a diagnosis.

Some of the brilliant services they provide include:

Transport: A vital service for clients and families to and from cancer related hospital appointments.

Complementary Therapies: Promoting relaxation and wellbeing through massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, and hydrotherapy.

Specialist Support: Including counselling, bereavement support and therapy through art.

Get Involved & Support Local! 🤝 Rowan Tree is currently looking for volunteer drivers across all areas of RCT. If you have your own car, a clean licence, and a few hours to spare each week, they would love to hear from you. All training is provided and mileage expenses are covered.

You can also support them by visiting their charity shops, bridal shop or donating.

They rely heavily on kind donations to keep their services free. You can donate via their website or support their weekly lottery!
