The Town Hall will provide a welcoming indoor space during Ossett Gala for local organisations and groups to showcase their work, encourage community involvement, and celebrate Ossett’s heritage and creativity. The focus will be on awareness, participation, and display.

Just a massive thank you for everyone who attended the Visit Ossett meeting last night, following a recent change of local government we had the opportunity to speak to Councillor David Hunter - Ossett and Gawthorpe the new Mayor of Wakefield Brian Moorhouse, and regular faces of Nick Farmer, and continued support from Duncan Smith,

Thank you everyone for yesterday, a great turnout despite the weather.

And a HUGE thank you to everyone who came to the beer festival, visited the market and shops, and watched the procession and dancing! We couldn’t do this without you!! 💙💛

🌺 D-day. 6th June 1944
82 years later, at the end of a lovely community day, let us not forget.
Thank you to the people who brought flowers and cleaned the war memorial surroundings.
Thank you to the person who came and quietly stood and saluted.
Celebration and remembrance.
Ossett does both so well. 🌺
