Last year our Beavers brought home the winners shield at Conwy District Scouts Sports day. This year it was our Scout Section. Despite only four Scouts attending those four Scouts blazed through the events and came in a joint 1st place. Absolutly amazing effort. Well done all and thank you to Rhos Group for putting on another brilliant event.

Its Youth Vounteer Week here are at Scouts Cymru and Id like to give an honest and heartfelt thank you to our three young leaders Alexander, Lewis and Garmon. They were all Scouts here with us at 3 OC (see pic of them on PVH 4 or 5 years ago) before joining the explorer group in Llandudo and theyve returned to help support the group as Young Leaders, their support, dedication and commitment to passing on the what theyve learnt in Scouting to the Cubs and Beaver Section is unbelievable. Just this weekend they will be taking up their weekend to run Activities on our Camp. Young people often get a bad rap these day, but i can say hand on heart that im super proud of the young men these guys have become. Conwy District Scouts
