Here are a few photos from the National Skills Weekend which we as a region organised. There were a lot of SW members present, a few of them can be seen in these photos. Everyone enjoyed a weekend of ringing, a quiz & a ceilidh.

There are lots of people working hard behind the scenes in preparation for the National Skills weekend in Moreton-in-Marsh which starts next Friday 10th April.
Thank you Jenny for your skills which will now mean we have enough for everyone in the Techniques and Sticks workshop to have a go at singing bells😃 🔔🎵🎶🔔

This week we have started to send out Workshop and Masterclass allocations followed by music. If you’ve not received yours yet please don’t worry, you will get it in the next few days but my head is boggled and I’m going to have a day off tomorrow and go out and enjoy the 🌞

Here’s a few photos from our special Ringing Round the Region yesterday to celebrate Robert’s 50th Birthday. The delicious cake had been made by his brother Ben and it was lovely to have eldest son Elliot with us too along with Fiona, Jane & John.
Ringers came from near and far to join in the celebrations including of course the playing and singing of Happy Birthday 🔔🎶🎵🔔

Today we wish Robert Willis a very Happy 50th Birthday 🎂 🥳 and I’m sure everyone would love to ring the below version of the music 😵‍💫🤪 🎵🎶🔔🥳 Hope you all enjoy working out the repeats and the Coda’s 🤯🤪
On Saturday we continue the celebration with a special Ringing Round the Region to mark this milestone 🔔🎵🎶🔔🥳

Some teams shy away from playing if they can’t fit their usual table layout in but not this team. It’s amazing how you can fit a full 5 octaves into a small space. And watch carefully, you don’t see much of Jason, just his hands…one with his baton conducting and the other hand with 3 bells to ring 🔔🔔🔔
