It was a really special moment to see Dangerous Art on sale at reception in The Bedford Hotel, a place that holds a very special place in my heart.

Why?
Around eight years ago, on my way home from a Writers’ Retreat in Cornwall, I stopped off in Tavistock for a wander. I quickly realised what a beautiful, vibrant and historic town it was, before settling down for a coffee in the bar at The Bedford Hotel.

While sitting there, I rang my (now) wife and said, “You would absolutely love it here!”

Her response? “Where’s Tavistock?!”

A year later, we returned for a weekend stay at The Bedford Hotel, and that visit convinced us to make Tavistock our home. The rest, as they say, is history.

Over the years, The Bedford Hotel has remained a firm favourite for coffee, delicious food, Murder Mystery evenings, Jazz Sunday lunches and so many fantastic events. It has also hosted the charity launches of both my crime thrillers, Redline and Dangerous Art.

So seeing Dangerous Art on sale there feels like a wonderful full-circle moment.

Thank you, The Bedford Hotel , for your support, friendship and for being such an important part of our Tavistock story.
