It’s my first time running this, so please be kind — but I’m really excited to share that our Compassion for Cats Auction of Promises & Donations is now LIVE for 2 weeks only!

We’ve been blown away by the kindness of our supporters who have donated the most amazing items to make lovely bundles — pamper sets, prosecco treats, men’s grooming goodies, cat toys, handmade crafts, vouchers, and so much more. Every single item has been given with love to help us raise funds for the cats who need us most.

We’re aiming to run our Auction of Promises during the final two weeks of June, giving our community plenty of time to bid, share, and support Compassion for Cats.
To make it happen, we need enough promises, skills, services, and luxury items donated.

Every promise brings us one step closer to launching the event and raising vital funds for vet bills, food, and care.

Raising Funds for Compassion for Cats Charity

Support local cats in need by donating a promise, a skill, or a luxury treat.

We are seeking trades, services, and special items to be auctioned for charity.

💛 Wanted Donations
Car Wash — Offer an hour of car cleaning
Car Service — A professional check‑over or tune‑up
Garden Cut — Lawn mowing, hedge trimming, or garden tidy
Luxury Items — Hampers, spa vouchers, artisan goods
Unique Skills — Baking, tutoring, pet‑sitting, crafting
Special Experiences — A guided walk, a home‑cooked meal, a lesson in your hobby

🎉 How It Works
You donate a promise
Your promise is auctioned to raise money
All proceeds go directly to Compassion for Cats
You fulfil your promise at a later agreed date

This week we had to say goodbye to Dorian. She was such a kind cat, with many cats who loved her so much. She was a farm cat who never left her son Frankie's side. She had kidney failure. Poor Frankie is absolutely lost without her: he was calling for his mum and all the cats that adored her came running up to him to give him comfort and he accepted their love and started eating, but Prince, Fergal and David didn't leave his side, just kept rubbing around him reassuring him. Frankie had his dental treatment on Wednesday and had most of his teeth removed apart from his Canines. He is doing really well, apart from the loss of his mum. We are absolutely heartbroken 💔 Rest in peace beautiful girl, you will be so missed by us at Compassion for Cats ###
