In 2026, George Eliot Hospital Charity turns 30! 🎉

To celebrate, we’re inviting you, our amazing community to support our 30 for 30 campaign in aid of the hospital’s very special Dorothea Unit.

The Dorothea Unit provides oncology and haematology day care to hundreds of local patients every week. Our goal is to raise £30,000 to replace specialist reclining chairs used during chemotherapy and blood-related treatments. Our current chairs are starting to age — and with your help, we can provide greater comfort and even add a splash of much-needed colour for patients during treatment.

This year's concert is raising funds for the Children's Assessment Unit (CAU) at George Eliot Hospital💙

Today, George Ele paid a visit to the fantastic Felix Holt Summer Fair in the Serenity Garden, spending time with staff, volunteers, patients, and their families.

What a wonderful event it was, filled with smiles, laughter, and a real sense of community. Thank you to everyone who stopped to say hello and helped make the day so special.

Support Felix Holt Ward’s Wish List!

Felix Holt Ward cares for patients recovering from strokes, many of whom face challenges such as speech difficulties, mobility issues, and cognitive changes.

To help their recovery, Felix Holt staff create activity boxes that patients can use to continue therapy and build independence — even when the rehabilitation team isn’t present. Felix Holt also plan to develop their Serenity Garden, a calm and therapeutic space where patients can relax and connect with nature.

Your kind donations will help make rehabilitation more engaging, enjoyable, and effective for everyone on the ward.
