🌿✨FREE- Discover Nature in the City! ✨🌿

We often move through cities and towns without noticing the nature that surrounds us. This welcoming workshop invites you to slow down and explore the overlooked side of urban nature through creative activities that support health and wellbeing.

Learn from practitioners working in healing, community, and green spaces, enjoy a self-guided nature walk, and take part in a multimedia workshop where you’ll create stories and art inspired by Birmingham’s urban nature.

Thank you Asda for all the support you give to our projects.

Congratulations to Allens Cross Community Garden, Martineau Gardens and Genesis Tutoring and Education Consultancy CIC who have been awarded Asda Foundation grants totalling £2,000.

Martineau Gardens was awarded £1,000 to run seven weeks of therapeutic horticulture for young people, helping to improve their wellbeing in a safe outdoor space.

Genesis Tutoring received £500 to buy educational materials and cover volunteer travel to support teenagers, while Allen’s Cross Community Association also got £500 to expand their TeaTime club with outdoor games for local children.

Seeing the smiles and the impact these grants will have on the groups was amazing.
