Manor Farm Park - hosted by the Friends Association of people interested in the well-being of Manor Farm Park. We welcome members and volunteers of all ages.

The Friends of Manor Farm Park are an association of local people who are interested in the conservation and wellbeing of Manor Farm Park, the wildlife that lives there and the people that use and enjoy it. We undertake maintenance and waterside care work, hold fundraising events to raise awareness and engage with the Local Authority to bring about improvements to the park. Membership of the Frien

Today we did our monthly river monitoring in Manor Farm Park - we found a variety of species including caseless caddisflies, shrimp, snails, leeches and even a water scorpion (Nepa Cinerea).

The Cadbury Barn Trust have organised lots of free Summer events at the beautiful Manor Farm Park - hosted by the Friends 💚.

On Thursday 13th Aug we'll be running a beginners 'Grow your Own' session aimed at anyone who has been thinking about growing some food at home and isn't sure where to start. There will be lots of practical tips and time for questions. 🌱🍅🌱🍅

Then on Wednesday 19th Aug will be a short introduction to composting, where we'll give advice on how to make great compost with your kitchen and garden materials. We'll also share tips on how to avoid the common issues that people sometimes encounter when they first start composting. 🪱🤎🪱🤎

No need to book, just turn up and you'll find us at the gazebo near the carpark.

On Saturday 12 September, as part of Birmingham Heritage Week you can visit our stall between 10am and 4pm to pick up a copy of the Manor Farm Park heritage trail leaflet for a self-guided tour. There will be two guided heritage tours taking place at 11am and 2pm (booking not necessary)

Birmingham Heritage Week 2026 is packed with more than 250+ highlights this year, including a whopping 25+ events taking place across Sutton Coldfield alone. The Jewellery Quarter will also play host to so many incredible events across the week.

There's plenty to explore across the whole city.

📅 Official BHW bookings open from 10am, Saturday 15 August, with some of Birmingham's most iconic and rarely-seen heritage sites available to book for this September.
