As youth groups across our communities come together after the Summer break, let's continue to encourage one another, show kindness, build friendships, and grow. Small acts of compassion can have a big impact, and every step taken can lead to something amazing.

Last week we enjoyed an outdoor session, where at one point nearly everyone was getting involved in the cricket. It was really nice to see kids playing with other kids that they didn't know and teaching them how to play and helping each other! There was a great atmosphere in this session.

💙 A little reminder of why we do what we do...

Every conversation, activity, achievement, and smile represents a young person discovering their strengths, building confidence, and believing in themselves.

At NAYC, we're proud to support young people on their journey and create opportunities that inspire, encourage, and empower. Here's to celebrating every step forward and all the positive impact being made across our communities.

✨ Together, we're building brighter futures.

NAYC are excited to be able to offer a Youth Residential at their King's Park site foe youth groups in Northamptonshire.

The residential will run from December 18th at 6pm to December 20th at 2.30pm.

PLEASE NOTE THE AGE RANGE FOR THIS EVENT IS 10+

During the weekend their will be lots of activities for the young people to get involved with including Football, Tennis, Basketball, Table Tennis, Roller-skating, Music Workshops, Crafts, Area for Prayer, Games areas and quiet areas to chat.

The weekend will also include some workshops (topics to be confirmed shortly).

We are also just waiting for confirmation regarding our Guest Speaker for the weekend.

Due to the size of the residential, all young people must attend with a Youth Group Leader who will be responsible for their young people during the weekend.

Accommodation on site will be in shared bedrooms (2 per room of same s*x), and leaders will receive forms to fill in and return to allocate rooms. Please note all Over 18's / Adults will not be allowed to share with Under 18's.

All food will be provided on site and again we will ask Group Leaders to fill in a Dietary Requirements form for their young people.

We will have an allocated First Aider on site.

NAYC has sole use of the building for the weekend so we hope to bring together lots of young people from around the county and have a weekend of FUN.

NAYC has made the decision to reduce this weekend's price to just £40 per person (all ages including leaders) to hopefully allow more people to attend. When booking it will ask for names, if you don't know yet please just put under youth leader name and we will get correct information nearer the time.

Feedback from 2026 Young People after the Outer Hebrides Expedition starting to come in - ❤️"It was great fun and an amazing opportunity in my opinion, I feel I have really learned to embrace local culture but also appreciate more things like cooking for people and keeping places clean, I am forever grateful I got the opportunity to go on this trip.
The island was incredibly interesting. I feel so honoured to be part of NAYC's legacy of young people lucky enough to have this experience and I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity."

A prayer following yesterday's tragedy at Big Church Festival. Nayc are holding everyone in their prayers over the next few days, those affected and also the organizers of this event who will have worked hard for months ahead.

Loving God,

We pray for everyone affected by the terrible events yesterday.

We hold before you the person who has died, and pray especially for their family and friends as they face such sudden and devastating loss. Surround them with your love, comfort and strength in the hours and days ahead.

We pray for those who have been injured, for healing and recovery, and for the doctors, nurses, emergency services and others caring for them.

Be close, too, to everyone who witnessed what happened and all those left frightened, shocked or distressed by what they have seen and experienced. Give them peace, comfort and people around them to support them.

In the midst of sadness and questions we cannot answer, help us to know your presence and to hold one another with compassion and love.

Lord, in your mercy,
hear our prayer.
Amen. 🙏 ❤️
