Volunteer Now are hosting a ‘Volunteer Organizations Learning Together’ (VOLT) session, with lunch provided and we would love it if someone from your organisation could come & join us. The Purpose of these VOLT sessions is to allow local organisations the chance to meet, network, and share resources & learning for everyone’s benefit through interactive shared learning– to ‘link lunch & learn’ from each other in a relaxed and friendly environment. Please see the details on the event flier attached, and feel free to share widely with your contacts and other volunteer involving organisations.

If you’d like to send someone, or multiple people along from your organisation we’d really welcome your contribution – to confirm your place please just email with the names & contact emails for anyone who would like to attend and let us know about any dietary requirements or access needs they may have.

🏡💙 Glengormley is greater together!

An estimated 3,000 people came out to enjoy this year’s Great Glengormley Get Together, a fantastic community celebration part-funded for the second time by the Housing Executive through our Community Cohesion Fund.

With support of £5,000, the event brought local people together to make new connections, celebrate community spirit and welcome new faces to the area. From country music and line dancing to face painting, craft displays, a play bus, sensory bus and the popular Pot A Plant for Peace activity, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The day also provided valuable opportunities for families to access advice and support from community organisations while enjoying a free day out.

👏 A huge thank you to the Community Relations Forum, Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough, Policing and Community Safety Partnerships, Woven Housing Association and Clanmil Housing Association for all their hard work in making this event a success.

Rathcoole Library enjoyed a Barn Dance as part of Positive Ageing Month with Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council. We had the pleasure of leading the line dancing
Everyone embraced the theme with their checked shirts and loved giving dancing a go.

⭐NICHI Model Group Spotlight ⭐

This morning Community Relations Forum took part in a self care morning. This gave participants to take a well deserved time out for themselves. Everyone got to do their own mini facial on themselves ending with mindfulness and self care.
