Business For Youth in Newton-Le-Willows BUSINESS FOR YOUTH

Business for Youth (BFY) was founded in 2011 and registered as a charity in 2016. We are run on an entirely voluntary basis. Helen’s MBC.

Business for Youth's primary aim is to create opportunities for the children and young people of Newton-Le-Willows & Earlestown to participate in leisure and educational activities within a safe, welcoming and friendly environment. Our aim is to create opportunities for the children and young people of Newton-Le-Willows and Earlestown to participate in leisure and educational activities within a s

afe, welcoming and friendly environment. Consequently, we support and encourage their participation. ** All activities are free of charge. The opportunities we create build confidence, self-esteem, self-respect and a respect for others. All of which help to develop a sense of commitment. We believe that the work we do promotes community cohesion that encourages a sense of belonging, responsibility and accountability within the young people of our local community. We also support families in times of need and are proud of the work we do. We are committed into promoting a strong community spirit. Business for Youth achieves its aim through ongoing consultation with, and co-operation from, local resident associations; community centres; parents/carers and St. Since our inception we have raised an awareness of the project with local Councillors, local Police and other influential and interested parties and will continue to do so.

** We are able to offer activities free of charge
through:-
• our ongoing fundraising initiatives
• donations from local businesses and
individuals
• grants we receive from various organisations,
including St. Helen's MBC. We are extremely grateful to all who support us in any way, shape or form. Most importantly our team of dedicated volunteers who are the backbone of Business for Youth. Without them we could not achieve our aim. If you would like to volunteer for BFY or offer support then please either message us or email [email protected]

Hey everyone! We’ve got a tombola coming up, and we’re in urgent need of prize donations. Every little item helps! All proceeds go straight back into BFY and the free events we run for local kids. With your support, we can keep making everything accessible to all. If you can donate, please get in touch. Thank you so much for helping us keep the magic going!🌻

🌻 Volunteer Appreciation Week 🌻
Business for Youth is nothing without its volunteers.
Behind every club, every event, every trip, every activity, and every smile from a child is a volunteer who has given up their own time to make it happen.
Our volunteers are the heart of BFY. They turn up in all weathers, spend countless hours planning, organising, setting up, tidying away, fundraising, supporting children, and helping families – often without expecting anything in return.
Without our volunteers, there would be no clubs, no activities, no special events, and no opportunities for the hundreds of children and young people who attend BFY throughout the year.
What makes our team so special is that they never do the bare minimum. They always go above and beyond. Whether it's staying late to help clear up, offering a listening ear, supporting a child who is struggling, or stepping in wherever they're needed, our volunteers continually show kindness, dedication, and commitment.
This week is our chance to celebrate every single one of them and say a heartfelt thank you for everything they do.
To all our volunteers – past and present – thank you for your time, your energy, your patience, your compassion, and your belief in what we do.
You don't just help run Business for Youth.
💛 You are Business for Youth. 💛
🌻🖤 Thank you for helping us create opportunities, build confidence, make memories, and support our community, one young person at a time. 🖤🌻
