Following the last update we can now confirm the Baby Shed is now separate from the rescue and no longer associated with Max Legacy. It is being run privately by someone else at a different location.

‼️UPDATE‼️

To anyone that reached out to us about homing Gary- please know that we’ve paused the process for the time being. This is due to ongoing IT issues with messenger and the absolutely overwhelming amount of applications we received.
There is only two of us on the dog team and we also have full time jobs and busy lives, we are trying our best to battle against IT issues and get back to all those who were interested. So please don’t feel disheartened if you have not yet heard anything back from us!

PLEASE SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR CATS.

We are asking from the bottom of our hearts. Please take a moment to read this and share it.

Rescues like ours are bursting at the seams with kittens. We are overwhelmed, struggling to cope with the numbers coming through our doors, and we also two pregnant mums with us as well.

We love what we do, and we will always do our best for the cats who need us, but the truth is that we simply cannot keep up with the number of unwanted kittens being born. 💔

One thing we hear far too often is that male cats don't need to be neutered. But they absolutely do!

A female cat can only become pregnant if she mates with an unneutered male. If all male cats were neutered, they couldn't father litters. Of course, females need to be spayed too, because every unspayed female is at risk of having litter after litter.

Spaying and neutering saves lives. It helps prevent unwanted pregnancies, reduces the number of kittens entering an already overwhelmed rescue system, and helps stop so many cats from facing uncertain futures.

Please don't wait until your cat has kittens.
Please don't assume your male cat doesn't need neutering.
Please don't think it won't happen to your cat.

If you cannot afford the procedure, please ask for help. There are schemes and organisations that may be able to help with the cost. Contact local rescues, your vet, or animal welfare charities and ask what support is available.

We are not saying this to judge anyone. We are saying it because we are exhausted, our spaces are full, more kittens keep coming, and there are only so many cats we can take in at once.

Every litter prevented makes a difference. Every cat neutered helps.

Please, please, get your cats spayed and neutered. Don't leave it until it's too late.

Meet Elvis & Cindy — A Very Special Pair Looking for Their Forever Home

Sometimes two little lives come along that simply belong together, and that’s certainly the case with Elvis and Cindy.

These two beautiful rabbits have been in foster with us for a long time, and it has been lovely watching them settle in and become more confident. As their personalities have started to shine, one thing has remained very clear — they absolutely adore each other.

Elvis is a seriously impressive boy. He is a very large rabbit, and honestly, the photographs don't quite capture just how big he is! Cindy is a more standard-sized girl, but don't let the size difference fool you — she certainly knows how to keep Elvis in line.

They are an incredibly bonded pair and we simply couldn't imagine separating them. They enjoy having each other for company and are happiest when they're together, so we're looking for a home where Elvis and Cindy can continue their lives as a pair.

They would be best suited to a home where they are the only rabbits. Cindy has previously shown that she isn't keen on sharing her space with other bunnies, so we're looking for someone who can give these two their own special place to call home.

A home check will be required and an adoption fee applies.

🐾 WARNING: KITTEN OVERLOAD! TOO MANY TINY PAWS, NOT ENOUGH FOREVER HOMES! 🐾

Are you ready to fall in love? Because we have kittens who are very good at stealing hearts!

Tiny paws, little whiskers, cheeky faces and enough personality to fill a whole house. Some are ginger, some are tabby, some are black and white — but they all have one very important thing in common… they need loving homes of their own.

Behind every adorable little face is a kitten who deserves a future filled with warmth, safety, full food bowls, cosy beds and a family to call their own.

Right now, we have so many kittens needing homes. We wish we could give every single one of them their happily ever after ourselves, but we can’t do it without your help.

So, if you’ve been thinking about welcoming a kitten into your life, perhaps your new best friend is waiting right here.

Of course, kittens aren't just cute little bundles of fluff! They come with zoomies at 3am, toys under the sofa, climbing adventures and plenty of mischief. In return, they give you laughter, companionship and the kind of love that makes all the chaos worthwhile!

Still no home for this gorgeous pair 💔

MEET SALT & PEPPER – A BONDED PAIR LOOKING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOME - Age 7 and 8 years old.

Salt and Pepper are two special cats who have been through a lot of change, and now they’re hoping to find a home where they can stay together and finally feel safe again.

These two have always lived alongside one another and rely on each other, so they need to be rehomed as a pair. They may be a little shy at first, but with patience, understanding and a calm environment, we hope they’ll gradually settle in and show their lovely personalities.

Salt and Pepper are looking for someone who will give them the time they need to adjust, without expecting too much too soon. They need a home where they can feel secure, enjoy their own space and take things at their own pace.

🐾 A little about Salt & Pepper:

💜 They must be rehomed together.

💜 They can be shy and will need time to build their confidence.

💜 They have always lived together and rely on one another.

💜 They enjoy a variety of foods, and a little treat is always appreciated!

💜 Their favourite toy is a laser light that moves across the floor.

These two don’t need someone to change who they are. They just need someone willing to give them a chance — a patient person who understands that trust takes time and that the smallest steps forward can mean everything.

Imagine them settling into a home of their own, finding their favourite cosy spots and having the comfort of familiar company beside them. They deserve that chance.
