A heartfelt thank you to Pamela Clark , one of our wonderful supporters, previous fosterers and adopters, who highlighted our need for an air conditioning unit to her boss, Darrel Birkett of Cool Designs Limited.

Thanks to Pam's kindness and thoughtfulness, Darrel generously agreed to donate the brand new unit to us. This incredible act of generosity will make such a difference to our cats when the warm weather decises to come back, and we are truly grateful for the support.

We'd also like to thank everyone at Cool Designs Limited for their kindness and for helping to shine a light on the work we do. The support of our community means the world to us and enables us to continue caring for those who need us most.

​Food: Poppy has a sensitive tummy, so she is strictly a dry-food-only girl (wet food doesn't agree with her).
​Water Lover: Ironically for a Shar-Pei mix, she absolutely loves baths and playing in water!
​...But There's a Catch: If it's raining outside? Absolutely not. She will politely decline a walk in the rain.

​🏡 What Poppy Needs in Her Forever Home
​A Firm, Consistent Leader: Poppy is an incredibly smart, clever girl. She is highly trainable but needs someone who can provide a firm hand and consistent boundaries to help her channel her puppy energy.

​Company: Poppy does get anxious when left alone for too long. She needs a home where someone is around most of the day to keep her company and reassure her.

​Socialisation: She hasn't had a ton of socialization with other dogs yet, but she shows zero aggression, just curiosity! With the right guidance, she has great potential to make doggy friends.

​💖 Summary: On the whole, Poppy is just an excitable, loving puppy who wants to be your best friend. If you have the time, patience, and love to give this clever girl the structure she needs, she will reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and cuddles.

Hi Everyone, Jackie here 💕

Remember last year when I had the brilliant idea of climbing Snowdon to raise much-needed funds for the rescue?

You know... the one where halfway up the mountain I regretted every life choice I'd ever made, questioned my sanity, and swore I'd NEVER do anything like that again?

Well...

This year I've somehow managed to come up with an even more unhinged idea.

Why climb a mountain when you can throw yourself out of a perfectly good aeroplane?

So on 8th August, myself and Lynn will be doing a skydive to raise money for the animals.

Are we insane? Absolutely.

Are we terrified? Also absolutely.

But there's honestly very little we wouldn't do to help these animals, so we're asking if you could please sponsor us if you're able to.
