🏅✨ Sporty Skills ✨🏅

Over the last two weeks, our Brownies have been getting active with sports challenges focused on developing skills & making games fair for everyone! 🎯

We started with a throwing & rolling challenge, using balls, discs, & targets to score points. The girls then adapted their own rules so everyone in their teams could compete fairly, learning how sports can be changed to make them more accessible. 🌟

The following week, we kept the energy going with big group games, as well as smaller team challenges, working together to move balls, hoops, & balloons across the hall using teamwork. 🤝

🐾✨ Zoo Zone ✨🐾

This week, our Brownies had a wild night full of animals, teamwork, & brilliant ideas! 🦁

📝 We became zoo designers, choosing animals for our dream zoos, listening to each other’s ideas, & working together to decide which animals should make the final five. 🦒

🐶 We also turned into animal matchmakers, thinking carefully about what different pets need, then finding the best forever homes for them. We finished the night with parachute games & an animal picture hunt, bringing plenty of energy, laughter, & teamwork! 🪂

Great news! You can now raise free donations for ‘Girlguiding - 4th (Newcastle) Brownies’ when you shop in person at participating stores like Tesco, John Lewis, and Clarks.

To get involved, download the easyfundraising app if you haven’t already, look for 'In-store' at the bottom of the screen and follow the instructions to add your bank card(s).

Then, when you shop in person at participating stores and pay using your card or Apple/Google Pay, we'll receive a donation - it's that simple!

🎨✨ Dream Designs ✨🎨

Last night, our Brownies got creative with a brilliant room design challenge, putting their decorating ideas & design skills to the test! 🏠

✏️ We designed our dream rooms, planning everything from wallpaper patterns & flooring to windows, doors, furniture, & finishing touches. 📏

💭 The girls shared ideas, made choices together, & thought carefully about how to make their rooms look fun & full of personality. 🌟

We loved seeing everyone’s imagination shine through in such thoughtful, colourful designs! 💛

🤖Brownie Bots 🤖

This week, our Brownies stepped into the world of robots & coding with a fun twist! 💡

In teams, we gave clear, step-by-step instructions to a “leader robot” to complete different tasks. It wasn’t as easy as it sounds… we quickly learnt that robots only do exactly what you tell them! 🤖

There were lots of laughs, a bit of problem-solving, & plenty of teamwork as everyone worked out how to be more precise, clear & confident with their instructions. 👏
