Each year we help hundreds of people in Scottish agriculture who due to illness, disability, low income or crisis find themselves unable to cope. Every individual has their own needs, and RSABI structures the support it provides to best improve the quality of life of that person, in complete confidentiality. We monitor our Facebook messages in office hours (Mon-Fri,9am-5pm), so there may be a dela

y in getting back to you. If you're messaging about our support services please give our helpline a ring on 0300 111 4166. The helpline is open every day of the year from 7am to 11pm. See our social media guidelines here: https://rsabi.org.uk/Social-Media-Moderation-Guidelines

A privilege to spend an afternoon this week with Perthshire farmer Angus Livingston, one of the most inspirational young people in Scottish agriculture.
Despite sustaining life-changing injuries in an accident, unrelated to farming, four years ago, Angus’s determination, ingenuity and incredible positivity have seen him now back to work in the job he loves, including tractor work and combining.
Our thanks to Angus and family plus farm staff member, Lewis, for making us so welcome - watch out for our video interview with Angus coming soon. ❤️

There’s still time to round up friends, family and colleagues to raise money for RSABI with our World Cup Sweepstake. For £2 per team, you’ll have a randomly chosen country to back all the way to the final on 19th July. Will you be lucky and draw defending World Cup winners Argentina? During his practice run ANM Group Ltd auctioneer Colin Slessor achieved a remarkable 104 Keepy Uppies (we’re told 🏆) and while the tally when the video was recording was a wee bittie lower, there is no shortage of enthusiasm and the spirit of great intention!
Our thanks to Colin, a star of the hit series “The Mart” who is also our Health Hut poster boy for Aberdeenshire and looks out for everyone. ❤️
Colin has nominated James and Mandy Stewart (of our brilliant challenge sponsors Stewart Trailers) and also fellow ANM auctioneer Harvey Stuart. Good luck to you all! ⚽️😊⚽️😊

Well done to our Su***de Prevention Lead, Josie Barclay, who was a workshop lead at today’s Su***de Prevention Scotland Creating Hope Together Conference in Glasgow.
The theme of today’s event was “Growing Capacity for Hope Through Action” and Josie was pleased to share some of the work RSABI is delivering, from Health Huts and Mental Health and Su***de Prevention training to free counselling and our campaign and Ploughing On initiative.
Assisting Josie today was Katie Bryan, who is working on our three year research project looking at su***de prevention in Scottish agriculture, in partnership with Glasgow University’s Suicidal Behaviour Research Lab. Thanks to you both and to everyone who contributed to the lively discussions at the workshops. 😊

If you’ve ever thought about fundraising for RSABI, now is the time!

This summer, your support can go twice as far. Thanks to an anonymous donor, every donation made to RSABI will be match funded and doubled, up to £25,000! 💫

That means your generosity will make double the difference - helping us provide even more emotional, financial and practical support to people across Scottish agriculture.💚

There are so many ways to fundraise for RSABI, you could host a coffee morning, take on a sponsored cycle, organise a quiz night in your community, collect donations at your local agricultural show, or even walk coast to coast in your wellies!

However you choose to fundraise, every pound raised will have twice the impact.💥💥

Colleagues from agricultural teams at Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Bank laced up their walking boots and set off on the beautiful Loch Leven Heritage Trail this morning and were waved off by RSABI Fundraising Executive Margo Wills. And luckily, they have some lovely sunshine to complete their 13 mile walk. ☀️🚶

Thanks to the teams for choosing to support RSABI with their fundraising, if you would like to contribute to the total you can do so here: https://ow.ly/uExT50Z4E2H
