Greetings Brother Secretaries, Scribe E’s, and Brethren
W. Bro. Bob Riches continues to make steady progress following his recent traumatic hip operation and is now able to walk with the aid of a single cane. He is once again pleased to receive regalia for the Exchange, although he has sensibly reduced his attendance to around five meetings per week!

This will be our final list until September; however, we remain very happy to deal with any orders or enquiries in the meantime. We would also like to emphasise that our stock is of consistently excellent quality and condition, and we will, of course, provide a full refund for any item that does not meet expectations.

Prices are calculated at under half price as listed in the 2012 Central Regalia Price List.

Now that Worshipful Brother Bob Riches is up and about again following his third hip operation, he is once more able to collect any redundant regalia that Brethren may wish to donate to the Regalia Exchange charity.

Worshipful Brother Tony Jacobs has also kindly offered to assist with collections, as our stock is currently running low following a number of recent promotions within the Craft and other Orders.

My sincere thanks, as always, to the Brethren who continue to support the Exchange through both donations and purchases.

Greetings all,

March Regalia Exchange stock list is here!

Firstly, some very good news regarding our beloved Brother Bob Riches. After undergoing his third hip operation - an understandably traumatic experience at nearly 90 years of age - I am delighted to report that he is recovering well and has already begun attending Masonic meetings once again.

This leads me to make a further appeal to the Brethren for donations of any redundant regalia. Our usually extensive stock is currently running rather low, and Brother Bob would be most pleased to receive any items you are able to donate. Equally, he is very happy to collect or take delivery of regalia at the many meetings he attends.

With your continued generosity and support, it appears we are on course to surpass last year’s remarkable total of £10,500, which was distributed to cancer, diabetes, and hospice care charities.

For those Brethren who have recently been promoted to Grand Rank in Craft or Mark, we also hold a fine selection of aprons and collars in very good condition.

Thank you, as always, for your ongoing kindness and support. S&F Reg

Greetings, My regalia list is a little late this month. As I have been away in warmer climes. I would, however, like to take this opportunity to acquaint the brethren with our extensive stock of Grand Rank aprons and collars for many orders. All in very good condition and at very reduced prices. For example, a Grand Deacons dress apron at only £90. And undress at £35. Most of our other stock items have also been reduced in price. Please feel free to share, thanks

Wishing you and all the brethren a very happy, healthy, and stress-free New Year.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks for your continued support over the past 12 months, particularly in the purchasing and donating of regalia. Thanks to your generosity and commitment, we have been able to donate £10,500 to a number of worthy causes, with special support given to cancer care and diabetes charities.

Your kindness and dedication truly make a difference, and it is deeply appreciated. Thank you once again for your trust, your goodwill, and your continued support throughout the year. S&F Reg.

As we issue our final stock list of the year, we want you to know that if you have donated or purchased regalia you have helped us raise over £10,500 in the past 12 months - marking yet another record year.

Your ongoing encouragement truly makes a difference, and we are deeply grateful.

Following a careful review of the exceptional regalia kindly donated by the family of the late Worshipful Brother Roger Lines of L&H Regalia Limited, we are delighted to offer a number of high-quality new items.

We are pleased to offer 20 new Officers’ collars, crafted by Toye, Kenning & Spencer. If your Lodge collars are showing signs of wear, this is an ideal opportunity to upgrade them - and at just £12 each, they offer outstanding value.

In addition, we have two pairs of new Square and Compasses 9-carat gold ladies’ earrings, available for £40 per pair. A thoughtful and meaningful Christmas gift, Brethren!

If you would like an emailed copy of our stock list for your lodge or brethren, please email us at [email protected] and we'll send one right over.

Thank you once again for your trust, your goodwill, and your continued support throughout the year. S&F Reg.

For anyone who may not know the story behind what we do, here’s a short summary:

I founded The Regalia Exchange in 2018 as a heartfelt tribute to my son John, a past Master of Martin Folkes lodge in Heacham, Norfolk. The Regalia Exchange has grown into a powerful force for good within the Masonic community and far beyond. What began as a memorial has become a nationwide initiative, with donated Masonic regalia arriving from every corner of the country before being passed on to Brethren who give each piece a renewed purpose.

The impact has been extraordinary, over the past 12 months, the Exchange has raised an impressive £10,500 for a range of worthy charities. Beneficiaries include

🩺Macmillan Nurses
🌼Marie Curie
🚲Ed Hammond Appeal
🥑Diabetes UK
🏥Tapping House, whose home-visiting nurses provide exceptional care and compassion to those in need.

This cause is deeply personal: John himself received outstanding support from Tapping House’s home-visiting nurses, whose compassion and dedication brought comfort, dignity, and strength when it mattered most. Their work continues to inspire everything the Regalia Exchange stands for — care, community, and making a meaningful difference.

Victoria, a representative from Tapping House Hospice is pictured receiving a cheque for £2,500 from me, Reg Eaton, organiser of the Masonic Regalia Exchange. The presentation, now becoming an annual event, captures a warm moment of community support, helping in a small way with the Hospice’s vital work and the ongoing commitment of the Masonic community.

This month’s Regalia List is a little different from those you’ve seen before — stop and take note!

Following on from our last update, where we shared news of the incredible donations received from families and some of our most distinguished late members, we’re delighted to announce something truly extraordinary.

We have received the largest regalia donation in our history.
Mrs. Diane Farthing kindly reached out regarding her late father, Worshipful Brother Roger Lines, an eminent London Mason. In addition to his Masonic service, Roger was once a manufacturer, repairer, and retailer of regalia — a trade he continued until moving to France some twenty years ago, taking his entire stock with him.

Here’s just a taste of what’s included:
Over 100 aprons, collars, and sashes — spanning M.M. to Grand Officers, Craft, Chapter, Mark, and more.
Hundreds of jewellery items — pendants, cufflinks, tie pins, watches, breast jewels, keyrings, and more — all at half price.
Gold and silver pieces — including four 9-carat rings, pendants, pins and even ladies’ gold earrings (Christmas is coming, brethren!). These will be priced at scrap plus a little until we can catalogue them properly.

We invite you to phone, email, or — even better — visit in person to browse through three full rooms of regalia, available by appointment. Details on the stock list.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been fortunate to receive some truly generous donations from the widows and families of several of our much-respected late members, including Mike Goffin, Tony Golds, Roger Gray, John Maultby, and Jim Stoves, among others. We are deeply grateful for their kindness.

Thanks to these contributions, we now have the finest selection of regalia we’ve ever offered—all in excellent condition. And, of course, if for any reason a purchase doesn’t meet your expectations, we’ll happily provide a full refund, including postage.

Please share as much as you can, let's bump the total up ready for our big cheque donation at Christmas, thanks

Brethren, Update on the Regalia Exchange!

It seems my first distribution of the extended regalia exchange list may have been a little early for the start of our new Masonic season — the response was quieter than expected.

The updated list is ready and now includes all the donations of regalia received since the previous version. I’d be grateful if you could share it with the brethren to ensure everyone has the chance to take part.

Our stock of good-condition items has never looked better! Already this year, we’ve made donations to Macmillan Nurses and Marie Curie, and we’re aiming to surpass last year’s £2,500 gift to hospices by December.

Thank you all for your support and cooperation — let’s keep the spirit of giving strong!

Sincerely and fraternally,
Reg Eaton
