We do hope you can join us and the many other choirs performing that day .

See you Saturday.

A wonderful way to finish a very productive year. Our ladies make the most stunning afternoon tea, and we came together to celebrate the end of our season in total Copper City style. An afternoon of chat, laughter and of course the big question ‘well what are we singing next season? ‘ All will be revealed shortly when we restart rehearsals on Tuesday 1st September. New members will be very welcome to join us too, keep an eye on this page for details.

Our ladies are now taking a well earned Summer break and preparing for our lovely end of year party. We thought we'd share the last few photos of our 'season' from our recent concert supporting 'The Better Together Choir '. We hope you all enjoy the Summer and look forward to your continued support in the coming 'choir year'. Anyone thinking of joining this wonderful group of ladies in September? We do hope so. More information will be published in August or just send us a message.

Copper City Chorus had another excellent performing opportunity this week whilst supporting The Better Together Choir at Margam Community Centre in the company of special guests, the High Sheriff of West Glamorgan and the Mayor of Neath Port Talbot Borough Council who came to show their interest and celebrate the choir.

The choirs sang individually and came together with a rousing performance of ‘Sweet Dreams are Made of this’ and Curtis Mayfields ‘People Get Ready’. There were some excellent solo performances and two of the younger members from the Better Together Choir joined our ladies in a beautiful performance of Moon River

It was a truly beautiful afternoon and we would like to thank the Better Together Choir for inviting us to be part of their special concert.

To all those who came to our concert this week at Sherwood’s, thank you again for being such an appreciative audience. We thoroughly enjoyed performing to a fully packed house and receiving such a warm reception. As a little reminder of the evening we include a few highlights from our programme, which included some fantastic performances from our invited guest soloists, Georgia Furlong, Penny Dorward, Sian Charlton (vocals) and Peter Charlton (guitar). And of course thanks to our wondedrful compère Trudy Francis.
The total raised for our two nominated charities Morgan’s Army and Western Beacons Mountain Rescue Team will be published shortly.
