We've just submitted our application for charity places for the 2027 Great North Run! This year was our biggest cohort of runners so we are aiming for more places for next year.

Once we know our allocation we will be in touch; previous runners will get an email then we will go down our waiting list.

What does physiotherapist-led actually mean?

It means taking the time to understand each person’s experience of MS, assessing their individual needs and developing a personalised programme of support.

Our physiotherapists work closely with the wider MSRRF team, bringing together physiotherapy, rehabilitation, exercise and wellbeing services as part of a joined-up approach. As someone’s circumstances, abilities or goals change, their programme can change with them.

This approach helps people make the best use of the free services available through MSRRF—with their individual needs always at the centre.

Feeling unwell? Please help us keep everyone safe this winter.

As we move into the colder months, coughs, colds and other seasonal illnesses naturally become more common.

Many of the people who visit our centres may be more vulnerable, so if you feel unwell or think you may be contagious, please don’t worry about missing your appointment. Simply call us as soon as you can and our team will be happy to rearrange it for another day.

We know our appointments are important, but looking after yourself—and helping us protect other service users and members of our team—is just as important.

This week, we've registered five new service users at MSRRF. That's one new person for every day we've been open.

It's an encouraging reflection of the work taking place to raise awareness of who we are, what we offer and how people affected by MS can access our services.

It's also a reminder of just how important our work is. Across two centres and multiple outreach locations we provide over 200 free appointments a week.

Did you know...MSRRF stands as one of the few charities singularly dedicated to providing grant assistance specifically for individuals living with MS.

During our last report we awarded 34 grants across the UK.
