👀 GUESS THE STAFF MEMBER! 👀

We’re back with another mystery member of our team! 💙

Think you know who it is? Here are your clues… 🤔

Clue #1 💪
I’ve been part of the team for longer than any of our other PTs you could almost say I’m part of the furniture! 😂

Clue #2 🎶
If you come to one of my exercise classes, you’ll definitely get a workout… but you can NEVER be quite sure what’s going to come through the speakers! My music choices could politely be described as… eclectic! 😂

Clue #3 🤸‍♀️
I love helping people keep active, build strength and get moving and my exercise classes are rarely quiet!

Clue #4 😂
You don’t necessarily need to see me to know I’m in the building… you’ll probably hear my laugh first! It has been known to travel from one end of the building to the other!

Clue #5 🤦‍♀️
Despite spending my working life encouraging everyone else to move safely and confidently… grace and coordination aren’t always my own strongest qualities! If there’s something to trip over, bump into or drop, chances are I’ll find it. 😂

So… WHO AM I? 👀

👀 GUESS THE STAFF MEMBER! 👀

How well do you know our team? 💙

We’re starting a new Guess the Staff Member challenge! We’ll give you a few clues… and you tell us who you think it is. 🤔

Clue #1 👐
I help people manage physical symptoms and work towards maintaining their independence.

Clue #2 🚶
I assess things like movement, walking, balance, strength and mobility to understand what might be causing difficulties.

Clue #3 🧠
When it comes to MS, no two people experience exactly the same challenges — so every rehabilitation plan needs to be individual.

Clue #4 🩺
My toolkit isn’t limited to exercise! I can use hands-on techniques, movement assessments and rehabilitation to help with pain, stiffness and mobility.

Clue #5 💪
If the way your body is moving has changed, I’m one of the people you might come to see to work out why and what we can do to help.

WHO AM I? 👀

🧠 Ever walked into a room and completely forgotten why you went in there?

For some people living with MS, cognitive changes, often called “brain fog” can be a very real part of everyday life.

It might mean struggling to find the right word, losing your train of thought, forgetting what you were doing or finding it harder to concentrate.

💙 It can be frustrating, especially when it’s a symptom that other people simply can’t see.

Do you experience brain fog? What helps you on the more difficult days?

Share your tips below, something that works for you might help somebody else too. 👇

🌦️ When the weather changes, MS symptoms can too 🌦️

As we begin to move towards cooler days, did you know that changes in temperature can affect some people living with Multiple Sclerosis?

While heat sensitivity is more common, colder temperatures can also make certain MS symptoms feel worse, including muscle stiffness, spasms and mobility difficulties.

And because MS affects everyone differently, one person might struggle during a heatwave while another finds the colder months much more challenging.

Have you noticed the weather affecting your MS?

We’d love to hear what helps you manage changing temperatures sharing your experience might just help somebody else.

💜 MS, friendship and the power of a “messy” voice! 💜

Last Friday we had the absolute pleasure of meeting up with Voice MS, otherwise affectionately known as “Messy Voices” and what a great bunch they are!

Messy Voices is a WhatsApp group made up of people living with MS who support one another through the ups, downs and everything in between.

But it’s become about so much more than MS.
It’s about friendship, laughter, understanding and having people around you who just get it. 💜

There was plenty of chatting and lots of laughs on Friday, and it was lovely to see the genuine friendships that have formed through the group.

Living with MS can sometimes feel isolating, and having a group of people you can message who understand exactly where you’re coming from can make such a difference.

And judging by Friday’s get together, Messy Voices certainly aren't short of things to talk about! 😂

A huge thank you to everyone who came along.

Have you made a friendship that has made a difference to you? We'd love to hear about it in the comments. 👇

Just a little note: Messy Voices is an independent, peer-led group created and run by MSRRF service users. The WhatsApp group is not managed or monitored by MSRRF staff; it is simply a space for members to connect, chat and support one another.
