🌾 As Harvest Festival approaches, we’re calling on our local community to help ensure no one has to face hunger alone this autumn.
We’ve seen an 11% increase in demand this summer, while regular donations from supermarket collection points and the wider community continue to decline.
Harvest has always been a time when communities come together to share what they have. This year, we’re asking local residents, schools, churches, businesses and community groups to once again help us support those who may be struggling.
We’re especially grateful for donations of everyday essentials, including:
🥛 UHT milk & juice
🍓 Jam & marmalade
🥫 Tinned meat, vegetables & fruit
🍮 Tinned rice pudding & custard
🍚 Rice
☕ Tea & coffee
🍪 Biscuits
🧴 Toiletries
By giving what you can, together we can make sure local people receive the practical help they need, when they need it most. 💚
