Many older people are struggling with the rising cost of food, heating and everyday essentials. No one should have to choose between eating well and paying their bills.

If you know an older neighbour, friend, relative or member of your community who may be finding things difficult then please let them know we are here to help.

We are open at Monmouth Baptist Church on Friday mornings between 10am and 12pm.

We can provide:

✅Emergency food parcels
✅A warm, friendly welcome
✅Free financial & mental health advice from Citizens Advice and MIND
✅Information about other local support services

Asking for help is a sign of strength, not failure. We would love to help, just contact us on 07960 578062, send us a message or pop in on a Friday morning.

At the start of this year’s Volunteers’ Week, we want to say a huge thank you to all our incredible volunteers for their dedication and compassion.

We rely on our volunteers to sort donations, prepare food parcels, welcome visitors and provide vital support. Their commitment means we can support many local individuals and families facing hardship.

Our manager Martin Howlett had this to say about our amazing team; “Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Their kindness, commitment, and willingness to help others make a real difference to people facing hardship in our community. Volunteers’ Week is the perfect opportunity to publicly say thank you.”

Every year our 36 volunteers contribute hundreds of hours of their time to ensure emergency food and support reaches where it’s needed most.

We cannot thank you all enough 💚

Supporting your local food bank is most powerful when it’s purposeful.
