Full of character these little old guys, some people say they’re made by Schucco but the opinion is out. A gentle restoration for the two bigger ones required then they will be available for rehoming.

This afternoon Matron has been working on Admiral Ted and Miss Wobbly, they were rather tired when they came to the clinic. They leave refreshed and ready to take on another seventy years or so.

Admiral Ted is available to adopt on the shop for £45 including uk p&p

Two lovely vintage bears that got snapped up before even making it live in the shop. A Tara Toys Teddy with long mohair and an unknown made bear by me that needed a new arm.

A rare beautiful tipped mohair old Petz bear came in to have his pads renewed this week and a few other bits. You don’t see many of these treasures. He even has his original button.

Petz: made in Germany by Anton Kiesewetter from the 1920s through 1967.

Sad Teddy with a missing arm is now feeling a lot better. Matron made him a nearly matching prosthetic arm, he is getting used to being able to use it again.

Antique Felix the cat had lost his shoulder joints! Luckily matron put on her orthopaedic surgeon gloves on and sorted him out.
What a character piece he is!
