Many tributes are flowing to the remarkable Councillor Teresa Carberry, and members of the Mold Plastic Reduction Steering Group now add ours. Teresa was an indefatigable champion of causes, but she also encouraged others to champion their own causes. An enthusiastic supporter of Mold Plastic Reduction from its inception in 2019 (and serving at one time as Mold Town Council’s representative on our Steering Group), Teresa appeared at many of our events. This photo is typical, when she visited the MPR stand at Mold Food & Drink Festival in 2024 to take part in one of our surveys. Teresa’s health challenges would have prevented most people from keeping as many balls in the air as she did. A true exponent and example of civil society, an advertisement for all that is good in community life, she is irreplaceable.
