That Reminds Me was a weekly column by writer Harold Hepworth, published in the Bletchley Gazette from January 1973 to December 1978. Every week, we publish one of Harold's entertaining, wise and often oddly prescient columns. This week, Harold waxes lyrical on the joys of camping.

During the 80s and 90s MK was regarded by many as the skate capital of the UK and it is still seen as the lead city for street skating. In 2019 we conducted interviews with some of the people involved in the skateboarding community in Milton Keynes from its earliest days. MK Heritage Open Days - which we coordinate on behalf of MK City Council - celebrates its 20th anniversary this year! It's back in September, with 10 days of FREE events across the city with lots of family-friendly fun - site openings, exhibitions, film screenings, performances, guided walks, lectures and so much more.

Last year 90 arts and heritage organisations and individual organisers delivered 250 events across the city and points beyond so there's something for everyone - so get those dates in your diary now and follow our socials to find out more about the free events coming your way soon!
