After the recent announcements from the Girl Guides and Women’s Institute, we just wanted to put a post up in case any of our young people- or young people outside of our group- have been affected by this. If you have please feel free to reach out and DM us and we will do everything we can to find a replacement group who stand with the trans community.

We would also say; to all young people who may be seeing negativity in the comments on posts about the community- please look after yourselves and remember you deserve kindness, respect, and safe spaces where you can thrive. Make sure you do something or spend time with someone who makes you happy!

Today is international transgender day of remembrance, in which we take some time to remember all of our trans brothers and sisters who are no longer with us. We honour their memory, and continue to fight for the rights of trans people despite those who are trying to take them away.

It is vital to know that if you are feeling alone or sad, or dealing with anything that feels too much, that there is help out there. If you ever feel this way please do message us and we will do our best to signpost you to help.

We encourage you to take care of yourselves on this day, and be proud of who you are 💙🤍🩷

This week is all about celebrating the trans people in your lives- even if that is yourself! So we encourage you to take some time to do something which you enjoy, or even create something to show your trans pride, and to take a break from the doom and gloom in the news and world these days.

In a time where political leaders around the world are making the lives of trans people even more difficult than they already are- for no other reason than hate and misunderstanding, it is so important to show solidarity, support and love towards the members of the community. There is no LGBT without the T, and as a community we all need to stick together.
