This Monday at Let’s Connect, we had a fantastic afternoon exploring the topic "Ask a Stupid Question"... even though we all know there’s no such thing as a stupid question!

There were plenty of questions, lots of answers (with a little help from Google), and even more laughter. Some of our favourite questions included: “Is the King allowed to eat Nando’s?” “Are Greggs sausage rolls made of real sausages or magic?” “Can you make cheese out of dinosaur milk?”

As always, there was plenty of chatter, friendship, and laughter, and it was lovely to welcome a new face to the group too.

Why not join us this Monday for our next session: “Money, Money, Money” . You might pick up some money-saving tips, and there’s a very good chance you will hear an ABBA song... no prizes for guessing which one!

If you’d like some company, conversation, and a few laughs, we’d love to welcome you. We are a small, friendly group and there is always a seat waiting for you.

This week at Let's Connect we certainly proved that we all love to talk about the weather as there was plenty of chatter. There was a weather quiz and then a word search to do whilst listening/singing along to a weather related playlist...who remembers the song The Umbrella Man?

Monday 28th September is National Ask a Stupid Question Day in America.

Please join us for an afternoon of lots of question-related fun and chatter. But remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question.

It would be great to see some new faces next week. We are an easy going group and you can choose to participate in as much or as little as you'd like. Even if you'd like to just have a cuppa and some company, you would be very welcome.

Globe Cafe— Day 4 ☕

Another beautiful afternoon of cake, cuppas, and conversation at Southfield Road!

It has been such a joy watching students and staff from Teesside Uni pop in, take a breath from their busy week, and connect over something warm.

That's the heart of it, really, a welcoming table, a hot drink, and a bit of community!

New term can feel like a lot all at once.

This week, Globe Cafe is here as a quiet, welcoming space for Teesside Uni students and staff to pause with a free hot drink and no agenda.

1-4pm, Mon 21st - Fri 25th Sept, Southfield Road.

Everyone is welcome, come as you are.
