This extreme hot weather has meant we’ve sadly had to cancel a couple of things at the hub this week ☀️🥵
But the upside? We’ve had extra time to sort through last week’s AMAZING donations and thanks to your generosity, we are now in a brilliant position with baby clothes 👶🤍
We will absolutely continue to accept clothing donations while we build up some back stock, but right now we are especially short on items for mum and everyday baby consumables.
We are currently in need of:
🧴 Toiletries & toiletry bags
🪥 Single-pack toothbrushes & toothpaste
🧼 Shampoo & shower gel
🤱 Breast pads & maternity pads
💨 Deodorant & hand sanitiser
As well as: 🍼 Nappies (Size 1 only)
🧻 Wet wipes
🧴 Nappy cream
🛁 Baby wash
☁️ Cotton wool
If you’re able to pop an extra item or two into your usual weekly shop, we would be so incredibly grateful 🤍

Do you help care for a family member, friend or loved one? 💙
Friday 12th June, Derbyshire All Age Carers Support Service (DAACSS) are hosting an Information Day at Etwall Cricket Club as part of Carers Week.

DAACSS support unpaid carers across Derbyshire with things like:
✨ Advice and guidance
✨ Carers assessments
✨ Support groups & wellbeing activities
✨ Training and emergency planning
✨ Help for young carers, adult carers and families

Whether you provide care for a few hours a week or around the clock, there is support available and this is a great chance to find out more in an informal, friendly setting. No booking needed, just drop in.

Wednesday | 1-3pm | The Hub
A relaxed space to chat, share experiences and support one another. With it being half term, please feel free to bring your child(ren) along too! Stay for as little or as much of the session as works for you.

We’re excited to be welcoming Creative Melbourne into our space this spring 🌿✨

They’ll be running a series of community workshops over the coming weeks, with some sessions taking place in Wesley Hall.
• This Saturday afternoon - a fun, family-friendly workshop for children aged 7 and under
• Wednesday 13th May - a creative wire sculpture workshop for adults
A lovely opportunity to try something new, get creative, and connect with others in our community.
