Stockport Council is consulting on its new Local Plan – a key document that will shape where new homes, jobs and infrastructure go across the borough in the years ahead. What will it mean for Marple?

Marple Civic Society is hosting an open discussion at 7.30pm on Wednesday 10 December at The Navigation. We’ll be looking at:

-Where new homes could be built around Marple

-What key infrastructure is needed

-How you can have your say before the consultation closes on 21 December

Everyone is welcome – you don’t need to be a member to attend.

You might also be interested in the Council-run Local Plan exhibition at the Scouts’ hall, 3.30–5.30pm on Wednesday 3 December (details on the poster).
