A big thanks you to everyone who joined us for our 'Spa at the Bar' event this year. We had a brilliant evening hosted by fabulous Olivia White Temple Spa at the Norfolk Arms. We raised £300, which will be sent to Uganda for our Joy of Play project.

This week we received an update from our 'Joy of Play' project. This project operates in one of Kampala's slum areas and provides a twice a week playgroup for vulnerable pre-school age children.

The children attending have no toys of their own and look forward to 2 hours of fun at our playgroup. They have access to toys, snacks and spend their time singing and playing, away from the dangers of the slum.

Just £5 per month pays for a child to join our playgroup twice a week.

A big thanks you to our supporters in East Sussex who raised an incredible £300 earlier this summer selling home-made apple juice at their village fete.
These funds will be used to pay for the next quarter of the 'Joy of play' project which provides a playgroup for vulnerable children in one of Kampala's slums.

Birth Injury Repair Project Update

Five operations have now been successfully carried out by Dr. Darlson. Four operations were funded through REACH and one operation was funded through Uganda's Health Department.
These interventions have been truly life-changing for the women, one had waited 13 years for the surgery.
Thank you so much to all our supporters who enable us to make a difference to womens' lives in Uganda.

Last month we hosted our first fundraising event of the year. We were joined by wonderful friends at our coffee morning, and raised a fabulous £350!
