It was great to be a part of the Young Gamechangers Fund Scottish Regional Hub in Stirling last weekend 🙌

The BFF Nature Pioneers who attended really enjoyed connecting with other youth grantees from across Scotland and the team at YGF! Thank you to everyone who made this amazing experience possible 😁

One of the activities for the afternoon was to create a social media video with Jacob from YGF on ‘what would you do if you were Prime Minister for the day’ 😊

This will be a chance for us to connect with other young YGF grantees from across Scotland, share experiences, and take part in creative workshops 🤝

We are all really looking forward to it and will be meeting more of the BFF Nature Pioneers team later on 😁

🌲 Litter pick in the park 🚮

🙌 Last Friday BFF Nature Pioneers did a litter pick in Balbirnie Park

🌱 It’s always great to get outdoors in Balbirnie and even better helping the environment!

👏 All together they collected 2 buckets of glass and 2 bags of plastics

A reminder to:

✅ leave no trace of litter in parks and local areas
✅ if you can’t see a bin take your litter home
✅ recycle and reuse ♻️

By doing these things you are supporting the environment and reducing litter in our green spaces ❤️

It’s great to see Fife Council’s new 20-year environmental plan placing community stewardship, biodiversity and wellbeing at its heart. 💚

For years, BFF has championed this approach through youth-led action, bringing together young people, children, local residents, community groups and partner organisations — Fife Coast & Countryside Trust and Fife Council— to demonstrate that when communities are trusted and supported, they become empowered to care for their own green spaces, and everyone benefits. 😊

We welcome the opportunity to continue contributing to this shared vision and look forward to working with others to create healthier, greener and more connected communities across Fife. 🦋
