We’re hiring at Disability Nottinghamshire!

Join our Community Roots project supporting disabled people and carers in Mansfield and Ashfield.

• Partnership Manager — 20 hours a week. Build local partnerships and help disabled people shape services.
• Volunteer Coordinator — 10 hours a week. Recruit, train and support volunteers, including Digi Buddies.

Both roles are fixed term from 14 December 2026 to 30 June 2028. We welcome applications from all sections of the community. Reasonable adjustments are available throughout recruitment.

Have you attended a PIP appeal hearing (online or in person) in the last 5 years? The Institute for Crime & Justice Policy Research and Healing Justice Ldn are conducting research into the tribunal system and how the appeal hearing could be made more accessible in the future. Taking part in this research involves an online interview via Microsoft Teams. This interview will take approx 1 hour and you can have somebody you trust alongside you during the interview.

After the interview you will be sent a £50 cash/transfer voucher as a thank for taking part in the research. The research information and consent form is in in the link below! If you want to find out more email [email protected]

From everyone at Disability Nottinghamshire, a huge thank you to Cllr Anne Callaghan, Cllr Jane Beachus, and Chatty's, especially Lucy and Evie, for taking part in the wheelbarrow race fundraiser. We'd also like to give a special shout-out to Bradley, Dante, Hungrilla, and Aimee from the Sunbed Shop for their fantastic support.
Together, they raised an incredible £660 for Disability Nottinghamshire! 🎉
