Fylde Rugby Community Foundation We are currently able to offer the following programmes either free of charge or at reduced rates to those who require assistance.

Our aim is to improve access to Rugby Union on the Fylde Coast and beyond by offering community pathways for participation and appreciation of the sport – regardless of age, s*x, religion or background Although based at Fylde RFC the Foundation will operate independently as a registered charity and all funds raised for the Foundation will be used by the Foundation. As we raise more funds we hope t

o be able to offer more programmes at no charge or at reduced rates. Please see the Programmes for Schools link below and the Sponsorship page for more details of all the potential programmes. What we currently run at the foundation:

A huge shoutout to our brilliant young volunteers! 🏉💙

Olivia, Henry and Lucas have been getting stuck in and supporting our camps, including our summer sessions at Fylde RFC. From helping with activities to supporting our coaches and younger participants, they’ve been a fantastic addition to the team. 👏

Our Volunteer Scheme gives young people aged 12–17 the opportunity to get involved with the Foundation, build confidence, develop new skills and gain valuable experience in a fun rugby environment.

And of course, our volunteers have been looking the part too! 👕 A big thank you to for creating our volunteer T-shirts and helping us give our young volunteers their own identity within the Foundation.

Our Next Step Rugby Camps: Pre-Season Performance Days return for one final week, giving U10–U14 players the chance to sharpen their skills, build confidence and head back to club rugby ready to perform.

Across the day, players will work on:

🏉 High-quality skills coaching with RFU Level 2 & County Level coaches
🧠 Game understanding & analysis
💪 Speed & conditioning
⚡ Specialist forwards & backs training
🔥 Developing creative attackers & ruthless defenders

What a great week we’ve had at Fylde RFC and Garstang RUFC for our Next Step Rugby Camps: Pre-Season Performance Days! 🏉🔥

It’s been brilliant to see so many young players getting stuck in, developing their skills and putting in the work ahead of the new season.

The rugby season might be starting later… but that doesn’t mean their development has to. 🏉🔥

Following the recent RFU announcement impacting the start of the competitive community rugby season and, for many players, their usual return to training, there’s even more reason to make the most of the extra pre-season time.
