Hi everyone, hope you're getting ready for Christmas, 9 days to go!
Race completed. It was a wet one, but a good one at the iconic Aintree Racecourse.
The start and finish lines were in front of the grandstand and the was great support from those that braved the weather!
I managed to finish with an official chip time of 1:36:50, finishing 75th of of 445 runners.
I left it all out there and am really pleased with the result.
More importantly, thank you to those who have donated. Your donation really will help those children in need.
I'll do one last call for anyone else that able to donate before letting you know the total in a day or 2.

It's race day, and what a lovely day for it! 🌧☔️🌧

I'm raising money for Action For Children's Secret Santa Appeal. It's a fantastic charity that aims to make sure that every child wakes up on Christmas morning with a present under the tree.

Please donate if you can.

Hi everyone, the countdown to Christmas is officially on!
With that in mind, I wanted to squeeze in another race with a Christmassy cause.
On 14 December I will be running the Aintree Half Marathon and will be raising money for Action For Children's Secret Santa Appeal.
Action For Children is an amazing charity that help the country's most vulnerable children, and their Secret Santa Appeal specifically aims to help every child wake up on Christmas morning with a present under the tree.
Please give what you can to help as many children feel the magic of Christmas.
