Here are Local Crafters Supply Cupboard there are several aspects where we try to help Make Creativity Accessible To All

1. Taking in secondhand art and craft supplies
- We collect donations from a range of people and businesses that either have no use for the materials any more or are a waste product for them. This could be offcuts from upholsters or craft room clearances

2. Supply Cupboard Shop
- Items that are easily sellable we upload to our online shop, or advertise to our email list. We aim to put prices at most 25% of their worth as we are trying to 'make creativity accessible for all'.
Arrangements for in-person viewing can be made by appointment.
(Any profit made goes straight back into the business, whether thats website costs or acquiring more secondhand stock)

3. Community Craft Boxes
- Each quarter (hopefully more regularly as we grow) we put together a large box of craft supplies which we donate to a local group, school or club who have been nominated to us These boxes can be tailored to a specific craft or age range to make them most useful.

Keep in touch with our latest news by signing up to our newsletter, via our website, or follow our social media pages on Facebook and Instagam, .Crafters.Collective on TikTok
We are regularly posting our Sorting videos where you can get a look at more of our products.

- If you are ever in need of a specific item for your creative project get in touch to see if we have it in stock, we will be a fraction of the cost of buying it new
- If you ever see an item you would like on any of our videos or posts let us know as it may take a while to appear on the shop
- If you would like to donate any items to us, whether it be one item, a box full or a room full, contact us via any of our socials or email us at [email protected]
- If you would like to nominate a group for a Community Craft Box find the nomination form on our Supply Cupboard page of our website www.LocalCraftersCollective.co.uk

Friday is World Environment Day! 🌍

Remember that protecting our planet isn't only about major policy changes - it is also about the everyday choices we make.

One simple way to have an impact day-by-day to reduce waste and conserve resources is to buy secondhand ♻

When you choose pre-loved clothing, furniture, electronics or craft supplies, you help:
- Reduce landfill waste
- Lower demand for new manufacturing
- Save energy and natural resources
- Extend the lift of quality products
- Support a more circular, sustainable economy
- And usually save yourself some money too!

Every item bought secondhand is one less item that needs to be produced, packaged and transported. Small decisions, multiplied by lots of people can make a real difference.

Every item we sell at Local Crafters Supply Cupboard has been donated with the aim to save it from landfill, give it a new lease at life, and give someone new its enjoyment.

⭐This World Environment Day challenge yourself to buy at least one item secondhand.
Whether it be from a charity shop, ebay, vinted, a local vintage shop or Local Crafters Supply Cupboard.
Together, we can reduce waste and build a more sustainable future.

Mental Health Awareness week is a gentle reminder to put yourself first.

Whether crafting is your hobby or it is something you are wanting to try, it is a great way of spending time working on yourself, increasing your dopamine levels, making friendships, expressing emotions, ease stress and help you reset.

At the local Crafters Supply Cupboard online shop we have all sorts of art and craft items that can help you help your mental health.

Spending 5 minutes doodling a ‘zentangle’, knitting a row on a scarf, stitching a few stitches on a cross-stitch, adding a spread in a junk-journal, can all be highly rewarding.

Take a look through our shop to find items at bargain prices to help with your creativity.

Remember, if there is anything in particular you are looking for send us a message as we have much, much more in stock not yet in the shop.

Free delivery to LE17 postcodes, or free collection from Gilmorton.

Our first Community Craft Box has been delivered!

Welford Ward at Glenfield Hispital was nominated to receive one of our Community Craft Boxes and was successful in being selected this quarter.

Welford Ward will use the donations to help patients in the mental health unit to aid in their recovery by creating crafts.

This is a prime example of why the Supply Cupboard was set up as it is known that creativity can help so much with people's mental health and yet the funding just isn't there to support the activities.

We hope everyone at Welford Ward enjoys the box of crafty goodies.

If you would like to nominate a group, school or club to receive a Community Craft Box, follow the QR code on the image or visit our website

Local Crafters Supply Cupboard is currently seeking a small room to rent in order to support its growing community of makers and creatives.

Ideally, the space would be affordable, easily accessible, suitable for storing materials and have parking nearby. Located somewhere between Hinckley and Lutterworth and surrounding areas, but willing to expand the area for the right premises.

If you have a room available or know of a suitable space, please get in touch—we’d love to hear from you and explore the possibility.
