Feedback can be dropped through the letter box at the Centre and there's in-person sessions on 3rd June at 5pm and 13th June at 10am at the Centre too.

We are so excited about the possibility of Hebden Royd Pool being situated in Holmes Park. Especially as it would make Luddendenfoot a real hub of community life alongside a redeveloped Community Centre.

Just imagine heading for a swim in a beautiful natural pool, followed by coffee or perhaps an art or sports class with friends at the Community Centre. A perfect way to spend a summer (or autumn, winter or spring...) day!

Hi! Well we have what we hope is EXCITING NEWS for the Upper Valley, and Luddenden Foot in particular.
*** We have finally found a usable site for a pool! ***
With the help of both Calderdale Council and the trustees of Luddenden Foot Community Centre, we have identified the land between the community centre and the football pitch as a real possibility.
And today, we'll be out leafleting the local area, as we really want to contact all local residents, share what we are thinking - it's very early days - and collect the views & opinions of all those who live nearby.

Thank you so much to the amazing team at Story Contracting for all your help. It was incredible to see the Centre buzzing with activity. Your hard work has transformed our upper floor bringing more spaces back into use for our community 👏👏👏

🖌️🎨 are proud to have supported Luddendenfoot Community Centre in giving their space a new lease of life, creating a welcoming environment they can feel proud to share with local community groups.

This volunteering project builds on our work in the local area, where we’ve been delivering infrastructure resilience works on an embankment for Network Rail as part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU).

A huge thank you to our fantastic supply chain partners who helped make it happen - WTL Group for rolling up their sleeves at the centre, and Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland for providing the key access equipment needed to reach those tricky spots.

It’s great to see these spaces thrive for the benefit of the local community! 💙

Have you seen there's a new art class at the Centre?

Here's what one of the attendees had to say following the first session this morning:

"Had a lovely time learning the art of doodling today at the Healing Art Room class… I’ve never “doodled” ever!!!!! What a relaxing experience"

This class is FREE and open to all. You can still join the class up to the third session. No art experience is necessary

Sessions are 9.30 - 11.30am every Monday - next session is 11 May
