www.ladybird.org.uk The centre is based in St Gerardine School. The children are all referred to the centre by a Health Professional who has concerns with the child's development. They receive high level support on a 1:1 adult to child ratio, by fu

lly qualified and skilled staff. The Manager and eight practitioners care for the children with moderate to complex needs in a safe and stimulating environment, encouraging them through planned therapeutic activities and meeting their learning needs in order to help them reach their full potential. The centre requires over £120,000 every year to operate and has a shortfall of around £50,000 to find to top up the statutory funding. This is raised by the efforts of a voluntary committee, local people and businesses, and applications to grant funders. Help from interested parties is always welcome, either to assist financially or in kind, or to offer a few hours when required to help with fund-raising events. Please consider donating or offering help towards ensuring these very brave little ones get the very best start in life.

This morning the children went out a walk to visit John at Moray Golf Club and to thank them for their kind donation. Over the summer we received a fantastic donation of £1400 from them.

£700 was from their Beat the Pro competition and then they decided to double this from the monies taken in through entry fees. We very much appreciate your continued support 🙂

We would like to congratulate and thank Ava’s “granny Betty” who celebrated her 75th Birthday last weekend. Instead of gifts she raised an amazing £585.00 for Ladybird Development Group!

That along with granny Donna’s collection tubs which raised £74.10 brought their donation upto £659.10. Thank you so much, we appreciate your continued support 🐞

During the summer holidays we had some work done in the garden at Ladybird. We want to say a massive thank you to Craig and his workmates at Bob Alexander Landscaping who completed the work. They also fitted our new sunken trampoline for free!

Also a shout out to MKM Building Supplies who very kindly donated the materials to us for the replacement sand pit and planters. We are so grateful and the children will have some fun out there I am sure!
