As we celebrate National Volunteers' Week, I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge my thank you to all of my wonderful volunteers for your continued support, dedication, and hard work for the Lancashire Poppy Appeal and The Royal British Legion.
Your commitment and generosity make a real difference to the Armed Forces community, changing lives and providing vital support to those who need it most. The time, energy, and passion you give are truly invaluable, and I am incredibly grateful for everything you do.
I am so proud to be part of this wonderful team and to work alongside such inspiring people. Thank you for all that you do—you are the heart of our success.

Festival of Remembrance 2026

Every year, the RBL’s Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall honours the service of, and the sacrifices made by the British and Commonwealth Armed Forces community.
In the presence of Their Majesties The King and Queen, personal testimonies, storytelling and wonderful music performances express the nation’s gratitude to serving personnel, veterans and their families.

Wednesday 24th June
Ballot closes for both performances.

Wednesday 8th July
Evening ballot is drawn and entrants informed of the outcome.

Thursday 9th July
Afternoon ballot is drawn and entrants informed of the outcome.

Wednesday 15th July

Booking site for the evening performance goes live for successful entrants. Members have two weeks to purchase tickets.

Thursday 16th July
Booking site goes live for the afternoon performance for successful entrants.

Members have two weeks to purchase tickets.
