☀️ Stay safe in the heat!

Extreme heat can affect anyone – even if you’re used to hot climates. The UK’s environment isn’t designed for long periods of very hot weather.

💧 Drink plenty of water.
🏠 Keep your home cool.
🌳 Avoid the hottest part of the day.
❤️ Check on older relatives, neighbours and anyone who may be vulnerable.

Please take a minute to read these resources, share with staff, colleagues, beneficiaries & help keep everyone safe 💚

Stay safe and look out for one another 💛 created by Newham Community Project, approved by London Fire Brigade 🫶

IMPORTANT - Please remember
Whether you were born in the UK or have lived in some of the world’s hottest countries, extreme heat can still affect your health.

The UK’s environment is not designed for sustained high temperatures, so it is important that we all take steps to stay safe and look out for ourselves and others.
