Article 61 Magna Carta 1215 - The Constitution is The Solution!

Many people say there is no real opposition, or that there is no law within the Commonwealth capable of being relied upon.
Article 61 of Magna Carta 1215 was formally invoked in England in 2001, and it was invoked for the protection of the realm and the wider Commonwealth.
The Lords and hereditary peers who invoked Article 61 issued detailed correspondence explaining that the Coronation Oath had been broken. As a result, any presumed contract between the Crown and the people was declared to be at an end!

Where one party fails to uphold their obligations, the other is not bound to any contract such as the Coronation Oath!
Their position was clear: sovereignty, and the responsibility for protecting it, has returned to the people.
The trigger has been pulled. The remedy exists. What remains is for people to inform themselves, understand the law that applies, and decide whether they are willing to stand upon it.
The responsibility now rests with the people to act with full knowledge of the consequences in not doing so.
Lawful dissent under Article 61 is not a theory or a belief — it is law. When invoked, it is highest law in the realm because it addresses treason, a crime that affects everyone. For that reason, the duty to respond does not rest with institutions alone; it rests with the people.
No man is an island. If it is ignored, it is compounded. If it is excused, it is enabled.
As the maxim reminds us: “Treason doth never prosper; for if it prosper, none dare call it treason.”
The danger is not in naming treason — the danger is in refusing to do so.
The law already provides the remedy.

In 1215, a group of rebellious barons forced King John to seal a document that would become one of the most influential legal charters in history: the Magna Carta. Among its 63 clauses, one stands out as a timeless declaration of liberty and legal protection—Chapter 39. Over 800 years later, it still speaks to us, reminding every free individual of their inherent right to due process and justice under natural law.

“No free man shall be seized or imprisoned, or stripped of his rights or possessions... except by the lawful judgment of his equals or by the law of the land.”

1. What It Meant Then

In medieval England, the king’s word was absolute—until the Magna Carta. Chapter 39 was revolutionary. It introduced the principle that no one—not even the monarch—could act against a free man without lawful process. It laid the groundwork for trial by jury, property rights, and protection from arbitrary detention.

2. Why It Still Matters

Today, governments routinely overreach—freezing assets, detaining without charge, issuing mandates without consent. The spirit of Chapter 39 lives on in those who say “No” to such abuse. It is a reminder that power must be subject to law, and consent and due process are non-negotiable.
