It was great to have staff out from ScottishPower Transmissions Cambuslang office to help us yesterday with tree tube removal at our Knockaird site near Kilbirnie as part of our Rewilding Woodlands Project funded by Mossy Earth. Six bulk bags filled! A big thanks to everyone involved. A fantastic team - please come back!

Great to be back at Lukestone Farm to monitor survival of our wee trees funded by Mossy Earth which was encouraging to see. Thousands of trees have been planted on this regenerative farm over the years and we did some gapping up. The place is teaming with life. Large flocks of lapwing were calling. Since the owners took over and converted lapwing numbers have rocketed to become the largest flock in Renfrewshire. Got a fine selection of the finest meat from Killochries Fold for tomorrow's volunteers barbecue.

Great to help Erskine Riverfront Development Trust and Starling Learning with their first biodiversity improvements to the site owned by Scottish Enterprise which was saved from development. We planted a wide range of native wetland wildflowers which we supplied from our nursery and erected some bird boxes made by the local community. So much potential to be a special site for nature and the people of Erskine. Thanks to Ren CAN - Renfrewshire Climate Action Network for funding this.

It was great working with staff from Graham + Sibbald today at Brodoclea Wood owned by The Future Forest Company and managed by The Woolly Pig Company. Great effort planting the final 100 Aspen trees to create habitat for the very rare Olive Moth. We enjoyed meeting the pigs and learning about this award winning project. Big thanks to everyone involved. NatureFix

Our weekly volunteer nursery session was certainly hot work. We selected a wide range of wetland native plants for the fantastic Erskine Riverfront Development Trust for their community planting day on Sunday at their new site on the banks of the Clyde successfully saved from development. We were delighted to provide an extra donation of £150 of plants for such a great project.
