🚐 A day out to remember! 🚐

With essential work taking place in our workshop last week, we took the opportunity to jump on our minibus and enjoy a fun-filled day at Ely Country Park.

From outdoor treasure hunting and a scavenger hunt to games, a picnic, and tasty ice creams, everyone had a wonderful time! 🍦🌳😊

These trips are only possible because of the incredible support we received during last year's minibus fundraising campaign. Thank you to every single person who donated, attended events, or cheered us on. Your support really does make a difference.

🎉 And we're doing it all again this Saturday with our Fundraising Quiz Night at Littleport Ex-Services Club!

There are still a few spaces available for teams, so gather your friends and join us for a great evening while supporting a worthy cause.

We're still looking for enthusiastic, caring Support Workers to join our brand-new Saturday Gardening & Activities Club in Littleport.

This is a fantastic opportunity to spend your Saturdays outdoors, supporting young adults with learning disabilities to build confidence, learn new skills, and enjoy meaningful activities in a friendly environment.

We know the right people are out there, and your share could help us find them! 💚

📍 Littleport
🕤 Saturdays, 9:30am-2:30pm
💷 £14-£15 per hour (depending on experience)

If you, or someone you know, enjoys practical activities, working as part of a team, and making a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you.
No previous support work experience is not required. If you're a people person with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for helping others, we'd love to hear from you. Full support and training will be provided.

Today we visited Waitrose & Partners in Ely, who have made us part of their Community Matters Green Token scheme. 💚

The Trumpington branch have also kindly included us, so if you visit Waitrose in Ely or Trumpington, please give us your green token to show your support! 🙏

Yesterday we had the great honour of taking a lovely gentleman and his friend to Hemsby, for a trip down memory lane to remember his mum who recently passed away. We had lunch in his favourite café (of course with dessert!) where he got to see the jukebox he so fondly remembered is still there, and had some lovely chats with the staff. We took a walk to the sea where we tossed some flowers into the waves and said a little prayer for mum. Afterwards some souvenir shopping and a little time in the arcades, playing on his favourite game before the journey home. A truly special day for our gentleman, his friend and the wonderful staff who made it happen. 🥰
