To put matters to bed after last nights incident involving a young male.
Community reps where on site and police have dealt with the matter. I have liaised with PSNI NPT this morning who have assured us that the male is away from the area and has been dealt with.

After the dust has settled and we have had time to recharge our batteries, we will be posting recaps and updates ref our festival week that commenced 6-11th July.

We kick started our programme with an educational talk on "The Ulster Band - The birth & Evolution of a Unique Tradition" delivered by Quincy Dougan and what a reception he got the room was filled (approx 50).Everyone thoroughly enjoyed and hopefully it will be the start of many more.

Followed by a beautiful supper.Thanks to those that attended.

What a fantastic week celebrating our culture and heritage in TRUE style , the hard work for weeks and months definately paid off.This year we took a different approach and the feedback so far has been amazing.thanks so much to everyone involved our staff , volunteers who may i add definately do not get enough recognition!! We started at 8am yesterday morning and didnt finish until 10.30pm last night. 102 Frys, 312 partyboxes and 500+ Burgers/Hotdogs later!!!! 🫣

Ballymacash Cultural Awareness Project , Pride of Ballymacash Flute Band for working alongside ourselves.Our funders NIHE,LCCCand PCSP.The PSNI especially our local NPT who went above and beyond as always. The local businesses donating raffle prizes and in general our community and those who attended our events, you are all amazing.
