Raising funds for an inclusive play and meeting place for children, young people and adults with additional needs and their families in Lincolnshire

Umbrellas has been established by a group of parents who all have children with additional needs (including autism, Down's syndrome, epilepsy, cerebral palsy and global developmental delay): our aim is to create a recreational facility in Lincoln that has the appropriate equipment and set-up to allow all children and adults with additional needs to play and socialise. This has been successfully achieved in other parts of the country, but unfortunately resources are thus far lacking in the Lincoln area. The name Umbrellas reflects the founders' inclusive attitude, and our desire to create a safe, sheltered space for those with additional needs to play and relax on their own terms.

Tomorrow, Monday 26th October, from 10am to 1pm, Umbrellas will be open for you to come along, stay and play or explore what we have on offer. £2.50 per child. Drinks and snack included plus as much fun as you can manage!!

Unfortunately we’ve had to make the tough decision to cancel our forthcoming Family Race Night, hopefully we’ve managed to contact everyone who purchased tickets, we will still hold it in the future so watch this space 🤞😢☂️
