Welton Monce Family Twinning Association The foundation of the Welton/Monce family twinning group is to pair British families with French fam Twinners normally travel as a group by train.

Welton is a village in Lincolnshire which is twinned with the French Village of Monce en Belin which is near Le Mans. Families in Welton and surrounding areas can become twinners by being matched with a similar family in Monce. This is a great way to sample French life and for our French families to sample Bristish Life. The highlight of each year is the exchange visit in August - one year French families visit UK, the next year Bristish families visit France and so on. All are welcome to join - all you need is the spirit to meet new people, be comfortable with different cultures and lifestyles and have the confidence to share your own interests and way of life. If you have children it is a fantastic way for them to be immersed in the French language - great for French at school. We will be celebrating our 40th year of twinning in 2014 and we still have some original members in the group and even have children from original members now twinning.
